If there’s a calamity
I’m most afraid of:
It is all these hurricanes
Swirling inside me
My tears are heavy rains
And thunderstorm
Flooding my lungs
It’s hard to breathe
My thoughts are wildfires
That ignite at ungodly hour
Burning my heart and soul
It’s hard to think
My blood and veins
Are the fault lines
That make my whole body
Shake with anxiety
I am the drought
A coarse woody debris
Soon scattered to ashes
Dispersed in the wind
I am my own personal hazard
The disaster and the casualty
I cannot brave this
Storm inside me
Please save me
MARK 5:36
