#Giveaway | Book Haul + TBR 2017 [Closed]

It’s been a while since I last posted something about books! I’m glad to finally be doing this again 😊

Last year, I am convinced that I definitely hoarded these babies. Unintentionally, mind you. I just felt like these books called me every time I passed by a bookstore. BUT, I actually didn’t get the time (or mood?) to read them. I don’t even know why.

This month, I’m planning to get back to reading and I just thought I’d share with you these books I have piled up so far. Hopefully, you can give me your insights about each book if you’ve read them already. Please help me choose what book should I read first. I think they are enough numbers, for now, to get me by the whole year. Unless I really get back to my reading phase then I have to buy new ones, right? Praying that I can catch up with my Reading Challenge!

The Return of the Young Prince

I really love The Little Prince, but I am a little apprehensive about reading this one. I don’t know, maybe because I don’t want to get disappointed. I feel like I already have a closure with the original book. I’m still intrigued, though.

What Light

I must admit, I only picked this up because I loved Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why. [Edit: The book, never the movie. There are lots to unpack here.]

Unforgiven

I bought this for Lauren’s Kate book signing last year. I’ve read her Fallen series like 5 years back but I don’t own the book and it was already sold out then due to demand so I bought this instead. And I love Cam! You can also see my whole story about the event here.

Teardrop

I also got this from Lauren Kate’s event. I personally like the other cover of this but again, due to demand, all just sold out too fast.

Moby Dick & To Kill A Mockingbird

I fell in love with classics the moment I finished reading Wuthering Heights. These two are probably also one of the biggest titles out there. I have started To Kill A Mockingbird, but I don’t know why I stopped. Maybe I’ll pick it up again. As for Moby Dick, I haven’t opened it yet at all.

What’s A Girl Gotta Do?

I’ve started reading this but for some unknown reasons, I started to hate it after a couple of chapters. I’m not sure what is it with this book. Maybe I’m just not in my zone then. I’ll give it a try once again. [Edit: I ended up selling this one. LOL]
