I’d just like to start off by saying THANK YOU for all your reads, likes, comments and shares! We’re so close to 10,000 hits now and I still can’t wrap my mind around it. 😱 You guys are the best! Maybe when we reach those 4 zeros, another giveaway awaits. I LOVE GIVING AWAY STUFF! That’s the only thing I can think of to extend my gratitude and of course, a virtual hug 🤗

And since it’s my birth month, I can be a little more generous. 😅 I’m turning 24 so I’d thought I’d answer these random questions from ask.fm. Yes, I do get random questions when I’m bored.! I think it’s fun and lets me put my brain in good use. 😂

HOW DOES THE INTERNET INFLUENCE YOUR LIFE?

I can’t even stress enough how internet changed my life in more ways than one. It opened a door to a sea of people that I now call friends. Who would have thought that you could actually found good people through these computer screens; people with the same interests as you; or even those people who have different mindset from you yet you still find that common denominator that makes you click? Those differences also taught me to think widely and considerately because not everyone has the same perspective as me. I got more sensitive, I think. Internet also served me a platform for my works. It gave me audience that appreciates what I write and what I do. Also, it made me feel like I get more close to the artists I love. I don’t know. The connection (literally), is life changing on its own. Though, sometimes it can be so toxic, we can still turn away from it. Anytime.

WHICH IS THE BEST BOOK YOU HAVE READ SO FAR?

I consider it as a question from the evil. How can a bibliophile choose? I mean, there are a couple that really stand out—not just one. Of course, there’s Harry Potter. That’s legendary. But I also love The Infernal Devices (especially The Clockwork Princess). For stand alone book, I’d probably go with Every Last Word. For a poetry, The Princess Saves Herself In This One. What’s yours?

WHAT MAKES YOU LOSE YOUR TEMPER?

Shitty people who don’t know the word respect. And the arrogant know-it-all.

WHAT ONE WORD DESCRIBES YOU?

I suck at describing myself. I am confused most of the time. I’d go with writer, though. I am more of that than a reader these days.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED?

I’d like to be remember as someone who writes wholeheartedly; someone who makes a difference into someone else’s life through her words; someone who doesn’t hold back. Nothing special. I just want to be remembered for what I love doing and that’s writing.

WHAT WOULD YOU NAME A NEWLY DISCOVERED PLANET?

BTS. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I’m sorry I’m so excited for the festa! It’s like a galaxy theme!

HOW DO YOU PREFER TO TRAVEL?

The idea of plane is always heartwarming. To be above the cloudbanks is surreal. But once landed, I want to be a backpacker. Your usual tourist. I want to sleep in tents and make bonfires—even in between cities. Travel agencies are good but I’d love to do it my own way. To be lost in a foreign land might be scary but it’d be thrilling.

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE AMOUNT OF INFORMATION IN YOUR HEAD?

I don’t think I am. Humans are sucker for knowledge and learning ‘cause we fear what we don’t know so we keep on searching and seeking for answers to questions we are not even sure of.

WHAT DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD DO MORE OFTEN?

Be kind.

IF YOU OPENED UP A RESTAURANT WHAT KIND OF FOOD WOULD YOU SERVE?

As someone who has coffee running through her veins, I’d love a coffee shop. Food would be the usual pastries but from different countries. There will surely be a canelé there and kouign amann. Just thinking of it makes my mouth water. I’d surely put up a wall for poems too! Then listening room. I want that ambiance where people can comfortably read and stay for hours without feeling claustrophobic with the other customers they share the place with.

WHAT CAN’T BE BOUGHT WITH MONEY?

Genuineness. Genuine friend. Genuine family. Genuine happiness. What money can give is sometimes ephemeral. But we can’t deny the fact that most of the time, money really does make the world go round.

CAN YOU TRULY LOVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON?

You can. But in different level. We are all bias after all. I have this favorite line from Maybe Someday: “You don’t get to choose who you fell in love with. You only get to choose who you stay in love with.” How can it be so true?

WHAT MAKES A PERSON RICH?

A person with a big heart.

Evil. But I’d go with Louisa Clark. I love how that girl shines.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH LAME HATERS?

Personally, I don’t have one. Hahahaha Only famous people acquire such, mostly due to insecurities and petty reasons. I guess if haters towards the artists I like, I just kill them with sass and kindness.

HOW DO SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DIFFER FROM UNSUCCESSFUL ONES?

Successful people are once unsuccessful too. I think unsuccessful is the path we take, the successful is our destination. It will only differ if we stop walking towards that point.

I find stargazing really romantic. Just laying down at the back of the pickup truck with lots and lots of blankets and pillows.

A good friend isn’t just someone who’s always willing to listen or give you advice. A good friend should also know when you need a slap of truth; a reality check. Someone who will tell you shit and can also take shit from you. Someone who is always true.
