POETRY | Somewhere in the Multiverse

I dreamt travelling through
galaxies upon galaxies—a never ending journey.

I wander in the universe
where particles of you outstretch infinitely.

I stood among different dimensions;
waited for a star to explode—a colossal entropy.

I thought that maybe some light years away,
we don’t have to defy gravity.

I hope that behind one of these wormholes,
you’re on the other side waiting for me.

And I pray that somewhere in the multiverse,
you can be my Alpha Eridani.

I have always loved the idea of parallel universes (in the literary sense). I am obsessed with anything celestial and my favorite constellation is the Eridanus. I have always imagined walking through its heavenly water. I don’t know, it’s just so poetic for me. I call it the river of stars. Seokjin is my Achernar. 💙
