I can’t believe I’m on my August list already. When I first started with this content, I wasn’t sure I could keep it but look at me now. YAAAAAY! I hope you enjoy the stuff I love just as much as I love sharing them. 🙂

BOOK

I am so behind my Reading Challenge but I just can’t seem to find my zone when it comes to reading. August has been pretty much dull.

So, this book isn’t the novel or poetry type. This is an actual PHOTOBOOK. I want to include this on my list because:

1) IT WAS SET IN CORON PALAWAN

2) IT’S 방탄소년단!

Last May, when BTS had their two-day show here in the Philippines, they arrived days prior to their actual concert date to film their Summer Package 2017 in Coron. AND HERE IT IS! The fact that is was set in the Philippines gave me enough reason to purchased a copy. I’m really grateful to them for choosing our country because it will surely help our tourism with their global popularity.

I love the material of this. The quality is so good I almost forgot it cost me too much. LOL I actually ordered with two of my friends and then we did a giveaway for our co-ARMYs. The winners will be announced today! I’m excited to make (even) a single person the happiest. Here’s BTS greeting you good morning. MY SUNSHINES ☀️

Four copies cost us $154 and the shipping cost is $52.80. That’s 200 bucks for the package, y’all. It’s really worth it, though! We bought it from KPOPMART and it only took them 2 days to deliver it. HOW FAST, RIGHT? Our local shipments nationwide takes 3 days or more. LOL HOW EVEN. 🤔

If you’ve been following and reading on through my blog, you’d know that I went to All Time Low Manila last August 22nd. I’m having PCD right now and I’ve been listening to The Last Young Renegade nonstop.

 

 

I still feel like shouting: “WE USED TO BE SUCH A BURNING FLAME! NOW WE’RE JUST SMOKE IN THE SUMMER RAIN!!!” and “I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE THIS SUNSET TOWN BUT ONE DAY THE TIME MAY COME! AND I’LL TAKE YOU AT YOUR WORD AND CARRY ON! I’LL HATE THE GOODBYE! BUT I WON’T FORGET THE GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!

ACCESSORIES

I’ve been loving these Supreme cases! The camouflage one is glossy and easy to wipe it clean. I use this everyday because I’m kinda messy so my cases always end up dirty. I don’t even know with myself. 😅 The floral one is matte. I don’t use it that much. Nonetheless, I think they are both badass.

FACE & BODY

If you’re monolid like me, you’ll know the struggle of lacking variations of eye make up styles. I don’t really put on me, mainly because I wear glasses anyway. But sometimes, I love making my eyes look more singkit. I love this San San black eyeliner pen. It’s cheap but it’s nice. I love the brown one also.

FOOD & DRINK

I once tweeted about this funny yet annoying situation I had in Infinitea. I was really craving for an Oreo milktea that time. The thing was, I don’t have any coins with me. My bills were like 500 and 100s (yes, I didn’t even have 20s or 50s). The Oreo milktea only cost PHP105.00 so I had no choice but to pay with my PHP500. The cashier was like “Ma’am, I don’t have change.” Uhm, okay? What do you want me to do? Of course, I didn’t say that. LOL I was like “I don’t have any, either.” She willingly cancelled my order. Uhm, okay? I just thought: do you really expect me to make papalit inside the mall? 😑☹️ To be honest, if I was the crew, I’d accept your PHP100 and just pay for the remaining PHP5.00. It’s just 5 compared to the customer I’d lose. Anyway, I’m just saying. I didn’t snap at her, though. Don’t worry. I was nice. HAHAHAHAHA! But I didn’t stop there. I HAD TO HAVE AN OREO MILKTEA. I went straight to I ❤️ Milktea. They only have Oreo Frappe (I didn’t want to have frappe then) so I settled for the Cookies & Cream Milktea. I usually have the Coffee Milktea with the coffee jelly toppings, of course. But this one has been my favorite lately.

 

I must admit that this franchise is pretty cheap compared to its competitors but still good.

MOVIES/CHANNEL

I love suffering. I love movies that make me cry until I can no longer breathe. It’s a good excuse to bawl your eyes out over something you’re going through and you’re just like “I’m totally fine! It’s just the movie.” SERIOUSLY, THOUGH.

I fell in love with Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu. It’s a Japanese drama released in 2009. The guy lead, Masaki Okada also starred at Hana Kimi. Whilst Mao Inoue, the girl lead, was in Hana Yori Dango. Well, I think these facts will only make sense to you if you love Japanese series and you’ve seen both shows that I mentioned.

 

If you love The Fault In Our Stars then you will definitely love this, too. I like it better than TFIOS, though. It has more depth because it showed more of their childhood. You really can’t just cut ties when you’re practically together your whole lives. THE ENDING KILLED ME. I immediately wrote “WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE?” (Make sure you turn on the music at the end of the post before you start reading to give you more feels) right after I finished this. It left a great impact on me.

Also, I finished watching Chicago Typewriter the last day of August. Please look forward to my review. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! ALL WRITERS ALIKE WILL SURELY LIKE IT TOO. (I guess)

This is pretty short compared to my last months list of favorites. I was so bad at tracking stuff at this certain point in time. Hopefully, I can write down everything I’ll get to love this September. I want to know your list too! It’s fun to share and try new things out. 🙂
