It is okay to take in projects that pay cheap if it is not that hard. When it is and you really use all your brain cells for it, they need to pay the right price, yano? It is intellectual property, love your craft. It is also true that you do not have to suffer from traffic if you work from home. Though, I must say that there are lots of freelancers who also need to go out and meet with the clients or certain brands. Some even work more than 8 hours a day. Sure, there are no boss around or colleagues who ruin your mood, but there are still set of deadlines. Most of the time, you have to bring your laptop with you because there are times you don't know when you are needed. Also, keep in mind that you are basically paying for your electricity and internet, unlike in the offices where it is not your problem.
